South Bend man pleads guilty to carrying concealed weapon

A South Bend man has pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon in Berrien County Court. 19-year-old Jaylin Marquis Moss was sentenced to two years probation under the Holmes Youthful Training Act and must pay $600 in fines and costs.
Leader Publications report s if Moss successfully completes probation, the charge will not appear on his record. He was arrested in Niles Township in late January.
Moss’s defense attorney noted that he had one previous juvenile adjudication. Moss apologized to the court, stating he had wasted everyone’s time.
