A Michigan City man is recovering after being shot at Washington Park in the north parking lot.

It happened around 8:45 on Sunday night.

The 23-year-old victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and two vehicles were damaged by bullets.

Police say the shooting was not random, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. So far, no arrests have been announced.
