The new playground at Geroldean Thursby Tot Lot is officially completed.

The City of Elkhart Parks & Recreation is inviting the public to celebrate this evening. From 4 until 6 p.m., the event will feature Kona Ice for everyone as well as a dedication ceremony at 5 p.m. and a chance to meet City departments to get information.

Six playgrounds across the city will be newly built or upgraded this year, providing more play opportunities for families around Elkhart.
