A crash claimed the lives of two people in Marshall County. It happened late Monday afternoon, June 30, when police say a horse-drawn buggy was struck by a pickup truck on Eighth Road, west of Apple Road.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the buggy traveling westbound when it was hit by the pickup.
Aden W. Chupp, 62, and Sue Chupp, 60, both of Etna Green, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County Coroner’s Office.
Factors into the collision remain under investigation.

This happens way too much! The roads are no place for a horse and buggy when there are 4000# vehicles on roads too. Amish horses need to be advocated for.
Then where are they supposed to drive, if not on roads? Be real.
