Speed is believed to be a factor in a deadly crash in Fulton County.

The collision happened shortly after 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, on State Road 114 near County Road 1600 East.

The preliminary crash investigation revealed that Coleton R. Cahill, 18, of Claypool, was driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee heading eastbound on State Road 114, with Joselynn S. Hensley, 18, of Rochester, occupying the front passenger seat. For an undetermined reason, the Jeep traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Coleton Cahill and Hensley were pronounced dead at the scene.
