A 6-year-old has died after suffering what investigators believe to be abuse from his father and stepmother.

The Baugo Township Fire Department was called on August 3 to a home on C.R. 22 regarding a 6-year-old boy being unconscious and breathing after allegedly hitting himself in the head due to behavioral issues.

He later died at the hospital.

Reports say he was found with multiple injuries, which his parents claimed were self-inflicted.

However, investigators say they found dozens of photos and videos on his couple’s phones capturing the boy’s abuse.

Franklin and Cheyenne Elmore are each facing one count of Felony Murder.
