A South Bend police officer, Travis Kukla, who has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, is receiving a wave of community support to help with his treatment expenses.

The South Bend Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 36 and the Police Department Honor Guard have created “Kukla Strong” merchandise, with lime green as the awareness color for the disease.

All proceeds from the online sales will go to Kukla, his wife, and their daughter.

The community is encouraged to place orders to support the officer in his health battle.
