The Walk to End Alzheimers – Michiana is coming up soon.

September is World Alzheimer’s Month, during which the Alzheimer’s Association ‘Walk to End Alzheimer’s’ is held.

More than 600 communities nationwide host events, with 13 in Indiana. Michiana will host this year’s walk on September 14 at Central Park in Mishawaka.

The association says there are more than 121,000 people living with the disease in Indiana, and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Those interested in signing up for the walk can visit the Alzheimer’s Association’s website.
