Vile, horrific, and disgusting.
Those are all words being used to describe the shooting of political commentator and activist Charlie Kirk in Utah on Wednesday, Sep. 10.
While many politicians including those in Indiana and elsewhere say they are outraged by the shooting, they also say they are lifting Kirk and his family up in prayer.
Statements expressing that sentiment were released on social media by Indiana Republican Senators Jim Banks and Todd Young. The same can be said for Indiana Congressmen Rudy Yakym and Jim Baird.
President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social just before 5 p.m. that Kirk had passed away.
Indiana Congressman Jim Baird released the following statement:
“I was devastated to hear that Charlie Kirk was shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. Charlie Kirk has been a leading voice for the conservative movement for years and is a man of deep faith. Political violence has absolutely no place in this country, and I wholeheartedly condemn this horrific shooting. I thank law enforcement and first responders for their swift apprehension of the suspect, and I ask everyone to please join me in praying for Charlie, his wife, and their young children during this difficult time.”

No big secret what party did this!
Not anymore horrific than the shootings of politicians in Minnesota. I don’t remember any of these commenters offering condolences or even thoughts and prayers. And none of these compare to the shootings at Annunciation Church and school.
You want everyone armed expect these shootings everywhere.
I don’t want everyone armed. I think Democrats should not be allowed to own weapons. They’ve proven over and over again that they cannot handle the responsibility. Every shooting you mentioned, for example…
Spot on.
The lefties want chaos. Seems they are asking for it now.
