The Full Service Community Schools Grant, in partnership with Elkhart Community Schools and Concord Community Schools, will host a Full Service Community Schools Resource Fair and Community Block Party on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Woodland Crossing, 154 W. Hively Ave, Elkhart, IN 46517.
The event will feature more than 60 local vendors and organizations offering resources and services for students, families, and community members. Attendees can enjoy food trucks, raffle giveaways, extracurricular activity information, and family-friendly entertainment in a welcoming neighborhood setting.
Participating organizations include ADEC, Girls on the Run, Heart City Health, Maple City Health, Boys & Girls Clubs, ETHOS, Lacasa, Inc., the Elkhart Public Library, Elkhart Career Center, CAPS, Habitat for Humanity, Minority Health Coalition, and many more committed to supporting local families.
“This fair is an example of what is possible when schools and communities work together,” said Regina Roberson, Project Director for the Full Service Community Schools Grant. “The partnerships formed through the FSCS grant, with Elkhart Community Schools and Concord Community Schools, ensure families have access to the resources they need to thrive while strengthening connections across the community.”
