It’s time to “paint the town blue” for National Mesothelioma Awareness Day.

Everyone is encouraged to wear blue on Friday, September 26 to show support for those affected by mesothelioma and to help raise awareness.

The Diner in New Carlisle will have t-shirts available for pickup and will be collecting donations which will go directly to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.

The initiative has been led locally since 2019 with hopes of helping fund life-saving mesothelioma research.
