GRC National Historical Park closed due to government shutdown

(95.3 MNC)
The federal government shutdown is already impacting Indiana, forcing the closure of all three of the state’s National Park Service properties.
The closed sites include Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, George Rogers Clark National Historical Park in Vincennes, and the Lincoln Boyhood Home National Memorial in Spencer County.
Automated messages confirm that staff are on furlough and the parks are shut down.
Nationally, the partial government shutdown has furloughed about 9,300 National Park Service employees, representing 64% of the agency’s workforce.

Oh no! Not the parks!

We need to reopen the government immediately, it’s worth trillions to give the illegals free healthcare if it means I can tour Lincoln’s boyhood home.

Seriously, this is really “impacting” Indiana?
