Vinyl enthusiasts and music collectors have a date this Sunday, Oct. 12, as the South Bend Record Show returns to the Gillespie Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Nearly 40 vendors from Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Tennessee will fill 100 tables, offering close to 100,000 music items for sale. Attendees can browse a wide variety of merchandise, including new and pre-owned vinyl records, 45s, CDs, cassettes, posters, T-shirts, vintage stereo gear, and record supplies.
For first-time visitors or those returning after a break, the show can be overwhelming. Vendors recommend starting at the For The Record Vinyl and BCW Supplies tables, located to the right of the admission area. These tables will feature a fully restocked selection of 1970s and 1980s vinyl, as well as recent releases, including Taylor Swift and Buckingham/Nicks. Record supplies and show merchandise, such as T-shirts and tote bags, will also be available.
The Gillespie Conference Center is located behind the Inn at St. Mary’s and is connected to the Hilton Garden Inn. Admission begins at 11 a.m. and is $2 for adults. Children 12 and under are free, and families of five or more pay no more than $10. Early entry is available at 9 a.m. for $7, allowing collectors first pick of the tables.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just looking to explore the world of vinyl, the South Bend Record Show promises something for every music fan.
