$50 million project to create safer intersection on S.R. 2

(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)

Plans to create a safer left turn at the intersection of Larrison Road and S.R. 2 in New Carlisle have been approved.

INDOT proposed the “diverging diamond interchange” almost a year ago, and officials voted to move forward with the interchange earlier this week.

Construction is expected to begin in March of 2026.
