State Rep. Maureen Bauer (D-South Bend) will host a community town hall later this month to discuss proposed mid-decade redistricting efforts and the broader issues she says state leaders should be focusing on instead.
The event, titled “Fair Representation, Strong Communities,” will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Riley High School Auditorium, located at 1902 Fellows Street in South Bend.
Bauer will open the session with remarks and a brief Q&A on redistricting before turning the floor over to attendees for an open forum. Residents will be invited to share their thoughts on redistricting and discuss other concerns affecting their neighborhoods and local government.
The town hall is open to the public.
