Credit limits have dropped year-over-year in 46 out of 50 states.
But according to a new WalletHub report, Indiana is on the better side of that national trend. The state ranked 48th overall for credit limit decreases, meaning Hoosiers saw one of the smallest drops.
Indiana’s average credit limit rose 4.5 percent for new accounts opened in the second quarter compared to a year earlier, and up 0.4 percent over the past year.
WalletHub says the average Indiana credit limit now stands at $4,272 for new accounts opened during the second quarter.
