St. Joseph County Assessor to present 2026 Land Study ahead of Reassessment Cycle

The St. Joseph County Assessor’s Office will present its 2026 land study on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m. in the County-City Building’s Council Chambers. The presentation will explain the data and methods used to determine land values for the county’s upcoming four-year reassessment cycle, which begins in 2026.

The meeting, held before the Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals, will include a question-and-answer session for the public following the presentation. Seating in the Council Chambers, located on the building’s fourth floor at 227 West Jefferson Blvd., is limited to 155 people, with additional space available in the adjacent hallway for overflow attendees.
