One person was found dead after a fire at a mobile home in Edwardsburg.

Crews were called just after 3 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, to the home near Painter Lake.

When firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed. They brought the flames under control and searched the structure, where they found the body of the lone occupant.

Crews stayed on scene to assist with the investigation until about 6 a.m.

So far, there is no word on the cause of the fire.
