The Indiana House Courts and Criminal Code Committee has approved a bill adding firing squads and nitrogen hypoxia to the methods allowed by the state to carry out inmate executions.
A bill to add firing squads has stalled in the Indiana Senate, leading the House committee to vote on their bill.
The legislation gets reviewed by the full House. Republican Representative Jennifer Meltzer joined all Democrats on the committee in voting no, but the bill passed eight to five.

Good on them. The Dims would end all executions of criminals, release them on the streets and jail anyone attempting to defend themselves against them. Don’t think so? Just look at Britain and the rest of Europe. Germany just passed a law saying you were committing environmental terrorism is you warm up your car on a winter day.
The Dems want collective dependency, not rugged individualism. Dependent groups are easier to control, so making everyone rely on the “authorities” for safety gives the left a lever for control.
The soft on crime stance is the other side of the anti-gun coin.
