Senator Jim Banks has launched a tip line to protect Americans from truckers who are illegal aliens, not authorized to drive a truck, or do not speak English proficiently enough to safely drive on U.S. roads.
The tip line was created in response to numerous instances of illegal aliens with commercial drivers’ licenses causing accidents that resulted in injuries or deaths.
Banks highlighted cases such as Harjinder Singh of India and Bekzhan Beishekeev of Kyrgyzstan, who obtained CDLs in California and Pennsylvania, respectively, and were involved in fatal accidents.
