(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)
The City of Mishawaka announced that a key intersection will temporarily close for sewer inspections as part of a road reconstruction project.
Officials said the intersection of Oakley Avenue and Vistula Road will close Monday, March 9, from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The work is being conducted as part of the Oakley Avenue Reconstruction Project.
During the closure, barricades will block the intersection while crews conduct sewer inspections. Detour signs will direct traffic to Lincolnway East using Ballard Avenue.
City officials are asking motorists to use caution, follow posted detours, and consider alternate routes while work is underway to help protect crews working in the area.
