A Warsaw man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle.

The collision happened around 10 o’clock, Friday night, on Fort Wayne Street, east of Detroit Street.

Investigators say the 63-year-old driver from Detroit Street drove onto Fort Wayne Street and struck the 58-year-old pedestrian, who was walking across the road.

Officers arrived and began providing aid.

The pedestrian was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
