The South Bend Police Department is reminding prospective applicants that the deadline is quickly approaching for its next one-day testing event, scheduled for Saturday, March 28.

The department’s “Prospect Day” allows candidates to complete much of the hiring process in a single visit. Participants will have the opportunity to take both the physical agility test and written exam, as well as complete initial interviews as part of the department’s screening process.

Officials say those interested in joining the South Bend Police Department must submit their applications by the end of the day on Monday, March 23. Applications can be completed online at www.sbpolicejobs.com.
