Illegal immigrant CDLs to expire Wednesday

All Commercial Driver’s Licenses held by illegal immigrants in Indiana will expire at midnight Wednesday unless the drivers can prove they have a valid visa.
The new law, passed earlier this month, comes after several deadly crashes involving undocumented drivers.
It also requires future non-citizen CDL applicants to hold one of three approved work visas and show English proficiency.
Employers who knowingly hire drivers without legal status could face fines up to $50,000. The Indiana Attorney General’s Office says about 2,000 CDL holders will be affected.

Good! How did they get a CDL in the first place? Anyone who has driven on the roads recently knows how hard it is getting around with no experience and dangerous people behind the wheel. They need to hold the truck driving schools accountable too. They are desparate for business and let anyone in. Many illegals cant even drive cars!

You’re right about the cars. I noticed recently that more and more people are driving with their high beams on, and wrote it off to people being selfish or dumb… but a friend of mine pointed out that there are now people here who have no idea what that blue light on the dashboard even MEANS, let alone that they should turn it off when there is oncoming traffic.

These people have no business here at all, let alone driving a two ton car, and certainly not driving an 80,000lb truck!
