An Iran-linked hacking group known as ‘Handala Hack’ is claiming credit for a massive data breach in St. Joseph County.
The group, which recently targeted F-B-I Director Kash Patel, says it has wiped twelve terabytes of data and stolen confidential records from various county agencies.
The hackers claim the attack was motivated by the ongoing war in Iran, though local officials have yet to confirm the full scale of the damage.
