Indiana colleges reveal program costs

unsplash.com
Indiana’s public colleges and universities have released new data detailing the cost to operate individual degree programs, as required by a 2024 law aimed at increasing transparency in higher education spending.
The reports show significant variations in costs per student across different programs and campuses, ranging from less than $8,000 to over $50,000.
Institutions were allowed to choose from three different approaches to calculate and present costs, leading to challenges in making school-to-school comparisons.
