Goshen’s Salvation Army calling on community for support

openverse.com

The Salvation Army in Goshen is calling on the community for support ahead of its annual Pancake Day on April 24.

Organizers say the fundraiser is currently 25,800 dollars short of its 70,000 dollar goal.

For more than 60 years, the event has helped fund food assistance, utility aid, youth programs and emergency services across southern Elkhart County.

Officials are encouraging sponsorships, group orders and attendance through dine-in, carry-out or delivery options.

According to Bridge Michigan, every ticket sold helps ensure critical services continue reaching families in need.
