The Salvation Army of Elkhart is teaming up with Shoe Carnival to help local seniors stay on their feet.

The organizations will provide gift cards for new shoes to the first 100 eligible seniors during the 2026 Senior Sweet Shoe Giveaway.

Those age 55 and older living in northern Elkhart or LaGrange counties can register April 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Salvation Army Elkhart.

Participants must bring identification and proof of address.
