The City of Elkhart is inviting residents to attend an upcoming information session focused on landlord responsibilities and rental property standards.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, at 6 p.m. at the McNaughton Park Pavilion.

City officials say the session will provide guidance on legal requirements for landlords, when to hire contractors, and how to meet health and safety standards.

Attendees will also learn about available resources to help maintain safe and compliant rental properties.

The session is open to current landlords as well as those considering entering the rental market.
