Sen. Jim Banks calls on FTC to investigate abortion drug companies

(Pixabay)
Senator Jim Banks is calling on the Federal Trade Commission to investigate companies that manufacture and distribute abortion drugs.
In a letter to the FTC, Banks claims these companies are using deceptive marketing by claiming the drugs are “safer than Tylenol.”
The Senator argues these claims are misleading and may encourage women to withhold medical information from doctors during emergencies.
Banks is urging the commission to hold these providers accountable under federal consumer protection laws.
