Foster families across Indiana can now visit state parks for free through a new initiative by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

The program provides eligible families with a free annual entrance pass, granting access to all state park properties.

Leaders say families must complete a short application form to receive the pass, which can then be submitted online.

State leaders say the effort is designed to help foster families spend quality time together and create lasting memories outdoors.
