The sights and sounds of the Renaissance return to Southwest Michigan this weekend.
The ninth annual Niles Renaissance Faire takes over Plym Park Saturday and Sunday. Organizers say visitors can expect knights, sword fighting, live performers, reenactors, vendors and plenty of food.
WSJM says the event gives people a chance to step into a magical world and become someone different for the day.
The faire runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 to 4 Sunday.
Admission is 10 dollars for adults and 5 dollars for children, seniors and veterans. Costumes are welcome, but not required.
