A juvenile was taken to the hospital in Michigan City after a shooting.

It happened on Thursday night, May 14.

Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 300 blcok of East 7th Street around 9 PM and found the juvenile suffering a wound to their foot.

A building was also found to have been hit by gunfire.

The investigation is underway and anyone with information is being asked to contact the Michigan City Police.
