The Lakeville Police Department is investigating several vehicle break-ins.

Police say the incidents happened between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, within the town limits. Investigators believe the suspects may have been driving a truck based on information provided by a witness.

Anyone who discovered items missing from their vehicle or noticed their vehicle had been gone through is asked to contact the department at 574-255-0606 to file a report.

Police are also asking residents to review any Ring, Blink, or other home surveillance footage recorded between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. that may help identify the suspects.

The department says patrols throughout town will be increased following the incidents.

Residents are also being reminded to secure valuables and firearms inside their homes and avoid leaving them inside vehicles.
