Governor Mike Braun is encouraging Indiana’s Class of 2026 graduates to build their futures close to home. 

Braun announced all 15 of the state’s public colleges and universities will freeze in-state tuition and mandatory fees for a second straight year, making Indiana’s public higher education system the most affordable it has been in more than a decade.

The governor also highlighted Indiana’s new diploma system, giving students pathways focused on college enrollment, career employment, or military enlistment.

Braun says the state is investing in education through school choice expansion, higher teacher pay, classroom funding, school safety and improved literacy and graduation rates statewide.
