Martin’s Super Markets and the SpartanNash Foundation have donated 40,000 dollars to Special Olympics Indiana.

Following a successful in-store fundraising campaign, the check was presented on Wednesday, May 28 at the Martin’s location on South Bend Avenue in South Bend.

Customers and employees at 21 Martin’s stores across Northern Indiana raised the money during March and April to support athletes and programs statewide.

Organizers say the donation comes as athletes prepare for the 2026 Summer Games in Terre Haute and Team Indiana gets ready to compete in Minnesota later this summer.
