Target recalls baby wipes over bacterial contamination concerns

Recall Alert
Recall Alert
Target has issued a nationwide recall of select Up & Up baby wipes after testing detected bacteria that could pose a serious health risk to infants and young children.
The recall affects fragrance-free and fresh cucumber-scented baby wipes sold in multiple package sizes at Target stores and online. The company initiated the recall after receiving reports of discoloration in the products.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, testing identified bacteria that may lead to serious infections. Target says some consumers reported skin and eye irritation, along with infections potentially linked to the wipes.
Customers are urged to stop using the affected products and return them to any Target store for a full refund. Additional information is available through Target Guest Relations.
