A Mishawaka man has been sentenced in federal court for dealing firearms without a license.
Sixty-one-year-old James Hanback was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty. He’ll also serve 18 months of supervised release, with the first six months on home detention.
Federal prosecutors say Hanback bought more than 200 firearms over four years and advertised about 165 of them for sale online without the required federal license. Investigators say they recovered 10 firearms during a search of his home after he sold two guns to an undercover agent.
