Pickleball players and fans are invited to celebrate a local legend during the annual Ray Comer Pickleball Classic. 

Venues, Parks and Arts will host the event July 25 from 9 until noon at Boehm Park’s Ray Comer Courts, honoring the “founding father” of pickleball in Michiana.

The event includes a free beginner class, open social play and a round-robin tournament featuring a new competitive format called “Dink Your Way to the Top.”

Organizers say the event welcomes players of all skill levels to enjoy the sport and celebrate Ray Comer’s lasting impact.
