Two firefighters were injured after their fire truck hit a semi Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the US 20 and S.R. 5 intersection around 11 a.m. for the incident.

Reports say the fire truck was heading to a call with lights and sirens on when the driver allegedly failed to yield to a red light and collided with the semi.

The driver of the semi was not injured, but WSBT says the passenger of the fire truck suffered a concussion and the driver had bumps and bruises.
