Downtown South Bend will become a live outdoor art gallery as Mural Mania returns July 29 through August 2.

The fifth annual event brings seven muralists from across the U.S. and around the world to create large-scale murals throughout downtown.

Visitors can watch the artwork take shape, meet the artists, and explore the new installations.

A guided Mural Mania Walking Tour, hosted by organizer and artist Alex Ann Allen, is planned for Saturday, August 1, from 11 a.m. until noon.
