Two people were arrested after authorities say methamphetamine was discovered during a search of a Cass County home.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, assisted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and K9 Juno, executed a search warrant around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, in the 26000 block of Pine Lake Street in Jefferson Township.
Investigators say they found methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
A 34-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine. Their names are being withheld pending arraignment in Cass County’s 4th District Court.
The investigation remains ongoing.
