Four people preliminarily charged after stabbing in St. Joseph County

The St. Joseph County Police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Thursday morning, Aug. 20.

It happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Elm Road near Roosevelt Road. The victim sustained minor injuries and was found not far away on Roosevelt Road.

The investigation has led to three individuals taken into custody.

Daveon Walker and Kyle Palmer have both been preliminarily charged with Robbery, Intimidation, Battery and Confinement. Both have been booked into the St. Joseph County Jail.

Dejahnaye Sears has been preliminarily charged with Robbery and Confinement.

She has not yet been booked into the St. Joseph County Jail.

The case is being reviewed for possible formal charges.
