A pursuit involving a stolen vehicle ended with a crash in South Bend on Thursday night, Aug. 20, and three people were taken into custody.

The vehicle, which had been reported stolen in Mishawaka, was spotted near Castle Point Apartments at Cleveland and Ironwood Roads.

Officers tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver took off.

The pursuit continued to the intersection of Angela Boulevard and Michigan Street, where the stolen vehicle crashed into a police vehicle.

The people inside the vehicle later got out near Parkovash Avenue in South Bend.
