A planned vote on a new Tax Increment Financing, or TIF, district for Microsoft’s data center in Granger has been delayed.

The council was set to vote Tuesday on adding the district to the existing TIF at the former Hummer plant.

The vote is now scheduled for September 29.

The proposal would use future property tax increases from the development to fund related improvements.
