Man convicted of dealing meth sentenced to 16 years

A man convicted of dealing methamphetamine has been sentenced in Elkhart County. 

Anthony Blatz was arrested after police pursued a vehicle in 2021 and found meth, heroin and marijuana inside.

The probable cause affidavit says Blatz claimed the drugs were his, including about 11 pounds of meth.

According to The Goshen News, Blatz called his actions a poor decision. He was sentenced to 16 years, with eight years suspended to probation.
