A Fort Wayne man is dead following a crash with a semi on U.S. 33.

Investigators say 74-year-old Leonard Jesse was driving north on U.S. 33 in Noble County on Monday morning when his vehicle crossed the center line south of State Road 5 and collided with an oncoming semi.

Witnesses told investigators the semi driver was unable to avoid the collision.

Jesse was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver wasn’t hurt.
