Michiana Down Syndrome will host its annual Festival and Walk Saturday at Potawatomi Zoo.

The event runs from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and brings together individuals with Down syndrome, their families and community supporters.

Activities include a walk through the zoo, local entertainment, a resource fair and silent auction.

Funds raised support therapy and medical grants, welcome bags and monthly programs for the local Down syndrome community.
