FBI suspends worked accused of raping baby-sitter, 16

VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) — The FBI has suspended an information technology employee of its Chicago field office who’s charged with raping a 16-year-old baby-sitter.

An FBI spokesman confirmed Friday that 33-year-old James Luttinen of Lakes of the Four Seasons, Indiana, had been suspended. The agency had no further comment.

Luttinen is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Porter County Jail. The FBI took him into custody January 21st.

He’s accused of assaulting the girl at his home last July 18 after she babysat his children.

The girl told police she consumed a few wine coolers and another drink that Luttinen provided, blacked out and awoke to find Luttinen having sex with her. She said he stopped once his wife walked in on them.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for Luttinen.
