Driver dies days after car drives off South Bend overpass

A 30-year-old man who was hospitalized after police said his car drove an overpass in South Bend last week has died.

Adrian Jenkins died Sunday at South Bend Memorial Hospital, according to our news partners ABC 57.

Police said Jenkins’ vehicle drove off the overpass at Olive and Sample streets late Wednesday night, May 11, and landed on railroad tracks. He was cut out of the vehicle by police and medics and rushed to Memorial.
